Sheffield Wednesday defender set for Premier League switch
Sheffield Wednesday defender Rhoys Wiggins could be on his way back to Bournemouth according to reports on the south coast.
The Bournemouth Echo says that the Owls full back is close to joining the Cherries for what would be a fourth spell, while it has also been reported that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
Left back Wiggins moved to Hillsborough in the summer from Charlton but hasn't settled in South Yorkshire and has made just nine appearances for Wednesday, the last coming at the end of December.
His departure seemed inevitable after Joe Bennett moved on loan from Aston Villa to provide cover for regular left back Daniel Pudil.
