Pudil spent last season on loan at Hillsborough from Watford and has spoken on numerous occasions of his desire to make the switch full time – something he insists the Owls also want.

And he says he will be keeping a close eye on negotiations between Wednesday and Watford during the European Championships in France, which kick off next Friday.

Sheffield Wednesday want to keep me but there is negotiations to be done,” he told the Czech media.

“It must be arranged by the clubs.

“I am going to concentrate on the national team and wait for the phone to ring, if anything comes.

“We will see what the situation is over the next few weeks.

“Who knows what will happen during the European Championships?”

Pudil – who made 42 appearances for Wednesday during his loan spell – says he is still motivated by a dream to play in the Premier League.

Czech Republic are in Group D at Euro 2016 alongside Croatia, Turkey and holders Spain and Pudil expects they will reach at least the quarter-final stage.
