Sheffield Wednesday were revealed to be in the race for Baldwin's signature after Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony revealed he was a top target for Jos Luhukay.

Baldwin played 43 times in all competitions last season but had been put on the transfer list during the summer window.

Wednesdayites are still waiting for a signing after a number of players departed Hillsborough, but Luhukay has said he is happy with a reduced squad.
