The sixth-placed Owls host Brentford tomorrow looking to crank up the pressure on the Championship’s top two. Following an impressive sequence of results, Carvalhal’s only trail Hull City, who occupy the final automatic promotion spot, by six points.

Carvalhal, who has confirmed Keiren Westwood has recovered from neck/head injuries, said: “The best enemy of the coaches is victories. With victories, sometimes you relax and think everything is okay. We are trying to focus on the things we can improve and do better. You try to correct things when they are not perfect and this week has been fantastic. I believe that on Saturday we can do even better.”
