Reach beat off strong competition from Dwight Gayle, Bradley Dack, Neal Maupay, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper, earning 36 per cent of the vote to land the award.

The 25-year-old starred in September, claiming two goals and two assists in the Owls' five matches.

Reach, signed in a £5m deal from Middlesbrough in August 2016, registered in Wednesday's 2-1 triumph at Reading and also scored a stunning long range half volley in the home draw to Leeds United.
