Volunteers gave up their time at the weekend to clear up an area of Sheffield countryside blighted by fly-tipping and litter.

Rivelin Valley Conservation Group cleared up litter, erected a fence and painted gates near a lay-by opposite homes on the site of the old hospital on Rivelin Valley Road.

A fence has now been put up in a bid to stop fly-tipping.
