Sheffield United: Will Millwall interest in Blades midfielder cause a domino effect that could lead to a new signing at Bramall Lane?

Millwall want to sign Sheffield United midfielder Ryan Leonard, according to Sky Sports, which could set off a domino effect in the transfer window.

Leonard, who signed for the Blades from Southend in January, is of interest to the Lions who are in talks to sell fellow midfielder George Saville to Middlesbrough.

Millwall do not want to sell Saville without a replacement, and have identified Leonard as a target for a loan move that will become permanent in January.

Should both deals go through, it could see a player come in at Sheffield United as Middlesbrough do not want to allow winger Marvin Johnson to join Chris Wilder's side without a replacement.

So, it could be one in and one out at Bramall Lane via Millwall and Boro if all the deals are completed.

Millwall wanted Leonard when he joined the Blades last season, and so far the 26-year-old has made four appearances this season.

Can all the clubs get the deals completed before Friday's deadline?
