Sheffield United: Wilder will sign a striker in January if current quartet don't deliver
Wilder believes his forward ranks are well stocked currently with Billy Sharp, Leon Clarke, Caolan Lavery and Matt Done all available.
Though the quartet have scored 15 goals between them this term – 12 from Sharp – none of them have netted in the last four games.

“Any centre forward worth his salt understands the situation that they’ve got to get in good areas so when they chances arrive which we’re producing, they’ve got to finish them off,” Wilder said. “From my point of view it isn’t a knee-jerk reaction where we’ve signed someone, he’s not good, let’s get rid of him.
“We have to give them time to bed in and take their opportunities.
“But we understand if they don’t – and it’s happening now – I’m not precious enough to not have the ability and courage to change it.

“They are in control of their own destiny. Get yourself out on the pitch, play well and do all the things we ask you to do.
“Really, it’s over to them, the forwards.
“We expect goals to come from different areas but we put the players in good positions and we have to finish our chances.
“That turns us from a decent side to one that goes and wins games comfortably.”
