Sheffield United ski-ing polar bears, Rotherham United baubles and Owls wrapping paper - the weird and wonderful Christmas gifts on sale at our local football clubs

Well, supporters of the region's football clubs have nothing to fear this festive season - with a weird and wonderful array of Christmas gifts up for grabs at the region's club shops.

We've taken a browse around - and discovered everything from Sheffield United branded ski-ing polar bears, Sheffield Wednesday wrapping paper and Chesterfield rubber ducks up for sale in the run up to December 25.

Here's our rundown of some of the fun gifts you could be waking up to on Christmas Day....

SHEFFIELD UNITED

There's no shortage of festive spirit down at Bramall Lane, with all manner of Christmas goodies for the Blades fan with everything.

How about a ski-ing polar bear, branded with the club's crest for £4? Or perhaps a natty red and white Blades Christmas jumper is more your thing? There's also a Sheffield United santa bauble on offer - complete with flashing nose - and Blades themed Christmas socks.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

The Owls are also full of festive cheer - there's a £7 reindeer mug lovingly crafted in blue and white as well as a Christmas snowman jumper, tastefully decorated with an Owls supporting snowman.

And then when you've got your goodies, you can wrap them up with a roll of Sheffield Wednesday wrapping paper - and then leave your prezzies safely under the tree in a blue and white fur trimmed Wednesday santa sack.

ROTHERHAM UNITED

Ever wanted a picture of the Millers' New York Stadium covered in snowflakes dropping through your door for Christmas? Well, now you can with some Millers themed Christmas cards.

And your Christmas tree can also have a distinct United flavour too - with a three pack of snowflake decorations stamped with the club's badge. There's also a Rotherham Christmas stocking and a penguin Christmas jumper up for grabs in the club's shop.

DONCASTER ROVERS

Not to be outdone in the South Yorkshire stakes, Doncaster Rovers fans can wake up to a red, white and green "Merry Christmas" t-shirt, finished off with the club's badge, while anyone wanting to make a real fashion statement can plump for a £36.99 adult tartan onesie.

There's also a Doncaster Rovers doormat and a red and white "baby on board" car sticker if you fancy Rovers-ing up your home and car this Christmas.

BARNSLEY

There's no chance of Santa missing out Barnsley on his rounds - Tykes fans can purchase a "Santa Please Stop Here, I'm A Barnsley Fan" for the princely sum of £4.

The Oakwell faithful can enjoy a tipple after Christmas dinner with an engraved club brandy glass while the youngsters play with their Barnsley themed reindeer soft toy, that comes wrapped in a mini Barnsley shirt for the price of £15.

CHESTERFIELD

Spireites fans can go quackers - with a rubber duck crafted in the club's blue and white colours and marked up with the official crest.
