SHEFFIELD United fans are one step closer to Wembley after queuing up at Bramall Lane to get their hands on tickets for the play-off final.
The first supporters to arrive at United’s ground were David Hobson, aged 49 and his 16-year-old daughter Megan Gill, who landed at 12.50am yesterday.
The Conisbrough Blades said they were surprised to find themselves first in line to get their tickets were rewarded for their efforts by Sheffield United, who presented David with a top.
Father-of-three David said: “I have been a fan for 45 years, I have been going since my dad took me as a nipper so missing Wembley was not an option.”
