Tram users in Sheffield face disruption on Sunday while work is carried out to connect the tram tracks with the railway line around Tinsley.

The work is needed as part of the tram train project, which will see trams running on existing train tracks between Sheffield and Rotherham from 2018.

Stagecoach Supertram said the yellow and purple route will be affected until around 4pm on Sunday, April 2, with trams only running as far as the Valley Centertainment complex.

Replacement buses will run between Attercliffe and the Meadodwhall Interchange.
