Sheffield trains '˜among most overcrowded in country' reports suggest

New figures being reported this evening suggest trains in Sheffield are among the most overcrowded in the country.

One in ten rail users could not get a seat on a peak-time train in Sheffield in 2015, according to figures reported by ITV tonight.

The figures cover all services to and from stations in major cities and were taken on a typical autumn weekday.

Neighbouring Leeds was also poorly rated, third behind London and Birmingham for overcrowding.
