Sheffield in top 10 happiest places to work in UK

Sheffield is one of the 10 happiest places to work in the UK, according to a new survey.

Business psychology firm OPP has revealed the top 10 cities in the UK for workers.

Sheffield comes in at number 6, with the number of independent businesses, the community feel to the city and its friendliness ranking the city highly.

Sheffield beat out Nottingham, Bristol, Manchester and Southampton but trailed the likes of Liverpool and Birmingham.

The overall winner? Norwich, where 77 per cent of people stated that they love their job.

The top 10 overall is: Norwich, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, Plymouth, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, Southampton and Bristol.
