Sheffield teenager, 15, arrested after car crashes into telegraph pole

The incident happened on Foxstone Way, Eckington, shortly before 2.30pm on Thursday, June 2.

Derbyshire Police said the driver and three passengers had run from the damaged Renault Clio and made off towards High Street.

A spokesman said: “A 15-year-old youth, from Sheffield, was detained in Eckington later in the afternoon.

“He was questioned and released on police bail.”
