Sheffield teen talks to ministers about the importance of digital skills

The Prince’s Trust “Slipping through the Net” report, authored by LSE and supported by Samsung, shows that the disadvantages young people face offline are preventing them from making the most of the online world.

- Only 49% of young people surveyed in Yorkshire and the Humber who set out to find a job through ICTs (Information Communication Technology) achieved this fully or partially

- Worryingly, only 11% of young people surveyed in Yorkshire and the Humber said they asked for help with using ICTs in the last three months.
