Sheffield teen Ben’s charity sky dive

Have your say

A SHEFFIELD teenager is set to complete a leap of faith in memory of his cousin who died aged 14.

Ben Goude, from Gleadless, is preparing to skydive from 15,000ft in aid of blood and lymphatic cancer charity Leukaemia CARE on Sunday.

He will be doing it at Hibaldstow Airfield, Hibaldstow, near Brigg, Lincolnshire, in memory of James Harbett who died from leukaemia seven years ago.

Ben, a sixth-form student at All Saints High School, Sheffield city centre, hopes to raise £500 for the charity.

He said: “I’d like to help raise funds for more research and to help or prevent others being in the same situation.

“Skydiving was my choice as it was the most extravagant fundraising event I could think of.
