Sheffield students stage '˜Transitions' exhibition

The ‘Transitions’ exhibition at Bank Street Arts was by artists studying A-level and UAL courses at Longley Park Sixth Form College.

It included disciplines like art, media, photography, graphics, 3D design and textiles.

Student Demi Saunders said; “This is a real achievement for me. I was really proud that I got the chance to have my work displayed in an exhibition.”

Pieces on display came from projects based on themes of Identity, Light and Dark, and Organic. Demi’s inspiration for her piece on ‘distress and decay’ came from professional artist Sam Peacock after a college visit.
