Sheffield students praised for acumen

It's all rock'n'roll for pupils at Sheffield Springs Academy, after its team took second place in the AMP Awards final at the O2 arena.

The young business hopefuls were mentored by Crystal Peaks office administrator Clare Farmer, and had to use organisational and entrepreneurial skills to seek out and promote rock talent at their school along with event management, marketing and sales responsibilities.

Clare said: “The students had some fantastic ideas and utilised all their skills in marketing and social media to ensure they reached the widest possible audience.They were all delighted to have done so well and I am extremely proud of everything they achieved.”
