Sheffield student cinema up for awards
The University of Sheffield Students' Union cinema '˜Film Unit' has been nominated for two major national cinema awards.
Film Unit is a volunteer-run independent cinema based in Western Bank and has been nominated for two accolades at Cinema For All’s Film Society of the Year Awards. It is up for the ‘Best Student Cinema’ award and the ‘Best Single Event’ gong for a screening of the documentary They’ll Have to Kill Us First’.
The awards ceremony will be held at Showroom Cinema on November 5.
