Sheffield Mexican food stop Street Food Chef has been hailed as one of the best ‘cheap eats’ in the country.
The family-run outlet featured in a Sunday Times supplement showcasing the finest examples of street food.
Judges said the shops were a ‘cut above your average Tex Mex.’
They added: “Diners chow down on authentic burritos and tacos, and the drinks include frozen margaritas and cult Mexican soft drinks.
“The brave try to get a place on the wall of fame by completing the house challenge — eating a burrito that’s more than three times larger than normal in an hour.”
Street Food Chef has two outlets, one on Arundel Street and a burrito bar on Pinstone Street.
The award-winning outlet says it provides a ‘healthy fast food alternative to the people of Sheffield.’
