Sheffield star Sylvester is looking for a home

Have your say

This handsome chap is looking for a new family who will give him a second chance at life.

Sylvester the terrier’s coat could hardly be seen because it was so dirty when he was brought into the Sheffield Animal Centre.

But the one-year-old has scrubbed up well and now flaunts an eye-catching coat of grey, brindle and white.

RSPCA Sheffield’s Tony Benham said: “We expect this smooth-coated fellow to fly out.

“All he needs is the right people or person to come and make a visit to our friendly centre to meet him and we can make the perfect match.

“When he was brought into the centre, his wonderful coat could hardly be seen as he was so dirty but we are pleased to say he has no known health issues. He just needs someone to love and care for him.”

If Sylvester’s new home had children, they would need to be over the age of 16. He will need at least two lots of 45 minute walks per day.

Tony added: “This super, bright dog, who is eager to please, needs an experienced and patient home with the time to dedicate to his training. Sylvester enjoys being the centre of attention and he’d love to be your star.”

n RSPCA Sheffield in Attercliffe is open every day except Wednesday daytime from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. It is open on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm.
