Sheffield sisters walk 210 miles from London in memory of late father

Two sisters have walked from London to Sheffield in memory of their father.

Grenoside-born Sami Massey, 26, and Jenny Christie, 36, are due to finish the 210-mile trek today, having set off on November 3.

The girls, known as ‘Robbo’s Angels’, are walking to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of their late father, Chris Robinson, who died of the disease in October last year.

They hope to arrive back in Grenoside at about 3pm, ready for a well-deserved drink in The Red Lion pub. Their mum Annette Robinson has been providing support and encouragement along the way.

November is also Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, which the sisters planned the walk to coincide with.
