A wonderful team performance that included 22 points from Jerrold Brooks and a double-double from T.J. Robinson saw Sharks romp to victory at the EIS Sheffield.
The game got off to a slow start with both sides committing turnovers and missing shots right out of the gate.
Sharks fan favourites Mike Tuck and Colin Sing then caught fire, combining for a quick 10 points to give Sheffield a 10-5 lead.
Both sides went back and forth as what turned out to be a high scoring first period finished with Sheffield up 25-22.

Brooks fired in two quick three’s for Sharks to start the second quarter, giving Sheffield some momentum to build on.
Sharks continued to push forward, stretching their run to 10 unanswered points when newly signed point guard Brandon Hogg finished at the basket for two.
Leeds finally got on the board in the second period after four minutes with a Louis Sayers basket inside.
Another Brooks three however, followed by an offensive put-back clinic from T.J. Robinson, gave Sheffield a 16 point lead with minutes left in the half.
A Kyle Odister layup near the close of the period put Sharks in prime position, up 49-31 at halftime.
Both sides traded baskets to start the third before the excellent Sing, who was contributing in all areas for Sharks, dished to Tuck for a smooth two point play.
Two more three’s from the deadly Brooks quickly followed to give Sheffield a 28 point lead midway through the quarter.
Captain Mike Tuck had high words of praise for the new boy Hogg this week, and Sharks fans can be delighted with what they saw of the guard as he bagged two assists and looked very impressive on both ends of the floor towards the end of the third.
Sharks ended their brilliant third period with the game wrapped up, leading by a comfortable score of 77-43.
Robinson continued his impressive day early in the fourth, crashing the boards like he does so well and securing an impressive double-double of 13 rebounds and 19 points.
Sharks managed to rest their starters as time ran down, helping keep the team fresh for their next match away to Manchester Giants tomorrow.
