Sheffield sex attacker still on the loose

Detectives investigating a sex attack on a Sheffield woman waking her dog have not yet traced the culprit.

A woman in her 40s was attacked as she walked her dog through fields close to Grange Lane, Handsworth, at 11.15am on Monday, May 2.

Her attacker was white, in his late teens to early 20s and about 5ft 7ins tall.

He was wearing a lilac hooded top and thick, black rimmed glasses. His hair was black and slightly wavy.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "No arrests have been made in connection with this incident and enquiries are ongoing.

"Increased patrols continue in the local community to provide reassurance."
