Sheffield to see world's best motorbike trials riders do battle

The best riders in the world will be back at Sheffield Arena for the 22nd year running next January to honour the life of ex-World Trials Champion Martin Lampkin.

The Arena said: "Martin was one of the founding partners of the Sheffield event; he worked tirelessly over the last two decades, producing innovative and spectacular sections that have challenged the world’s very best riders.

"To continue the tradition next year’s sections will continue to be designed and built by members of the Lampkin family.

"Sheffield is a fantastic night out for all the family and with four hours of adrenalin-packed action from the very best riders in the world, you are definitely in for a fantastic Saturday night out.

"With drama and suspense from start to finish, coupled with amazing displays of skill and breath-taking balance, this event can only be truly appreciated first hand!"

Tickets for the special event on Saturday, January 7, 2017 will go on sale on Monday (August 1) at 9am.
