Sheffield roller hockey team The Inhuman League in top-of-table clash

A top-of-the-table clash awaits roller derby fans when Sheffield's The Inhuman League (TIL) face Quads of War in Wirral on Saturday (June 18).

TIL will be looking to maintain their 100% record as they continue the hunt for promotion to the British Championships Premier Division.

Victory against Quads of War would see the Inhumen go clear by three points, with just two games remaining.

Captain, James Fogg, said: “We put in a great performance in our last Championships game against Wirral Pack Animals, despite us missing players to injury.

“That gives us confidence against a Quads of War side we’ve beaten before, but they’ve played well so far this season so we’re taking nothing for granted.”

TIL’s next British Championships game is against Kings of Block and Roll in Birmingham on Saturday 16 July.

Their final game of the season is against Crash Test Brummies in Sheffield on Saturday 13 August.

This weekend’s game is at the Leasowe Recreation Centre in Wirral.

Doors open at 1pm and tickets cost £7 in advance, available from facebook.com/wirralrollerderby.
