A police probe in Sheffield is continuing today into an attack on a man who was left with life altering injuries.
Detectives are hunting for a man who left another, aged 44, with serious facial injuries in an attack near Club Garden Walk, Sharrow, at 11.05pm on Wednesday.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are not known.

South Yorkshire Police said the victim's life is not at risk but he has been left with 'potentially life altering' injuries.

A force spokesman said: "Officers were called by ambulance staff at 11.05pm on Wednesday, April 11, after ambulance crew were notified of a 44-year-old man with serious facial injuries near Club Garden Walk in Sheffield.
"The man was taken to hospital with potentially life altering but not life threatening injuries after being assaulted by another man."
The crime scene was cordoned off yesterday while enquiries, including forensic work, was carried out.
