Sheffield news LIVE: City enjoys first night out as pubs and restaurants re-open
Sheffield has enjoyed its first night out since March after the city’s bars, pubs, restaurants and cinemas reopened following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
It seemed that most people took it slow and steady as pubs re-opened their doors for the first time since March – although there were reports of minor disturbances across the city.
Queues formed outside some bars while hairdressers were also busy as salons returned to business, albeit with a raft of safety measures.
