Seminar tackles grooming myths

EXPERTS will come together in Sheffield tonight to discuss ‘how we challenge the racist myths about grooming’.

The One Sheffield Many Cultures seminar takes place at The Showroom, Paternoster Row, from 7pm.

Leaders include Ratna Lackman, of JUST West Yorkshire which promotes racial justice, and Sheila Taylor, of the National Working Group for Sexually Exploited Children and Young People.

Church to host sale

WALKLEY Ebenezer Methodist Church in Sheffield is holding a tabletop sale on Saturday.

Good-quality household goods, bric-a-brac, toys clothes, books, cakes and more will be on sale from 10am to 2pm in the Church Hall, Greenhow Street.

Admission is 20p, with all proceeds to church funds.
