Sheffield market traders bare all for NAKED calendar

Sheffield market traders bravely shed their clothes and their inhibitions to pose for a naked calendar to raise money for an autism charity.

Stallholders at Moor Market regularly support good causes but wanted to do something different for Buzz Sheffield as it was the first time they had supported the charity.

Sheffield resident and friend of the market traders Kay Swift heard about their plans to produce a calendar and jumped at the chance to suggest the charity, which she supports and uses.

The calendar features 12 different traders from the market, each hiding their modesty with goods from their stalls.

February is a chip off the butchers block with Morley’s Meats, April is blooming with Meadowhead Florist and June is bursting with Tracey’s fresh fruit and veggies, and there’s plenty more to keep you going throughout the year.

Funds raised will help Buzz Sheffield to provide even more play groups and holiday clubs for children with autism and learning disabilities across the city. The calendar launch takes place in the market on Wednesday with a fish and chips supper evening.

It was attended by market traders who took part, city centre manager Richard Eyre, Chris Carter from Barton Chase Media - who helped to produce the calendars and did free photography, a representative from Buzz Sheffield, and Kay Swift.
