A burglar has been jailed for three years after admitting breaking into a sting flat in Sheffield.
Following a spate of burglaries in the Gleadless Valley area of the city, in October 2014, police put an operation in place using a sting flat to catch would-be burglars.
Trevor Parkin, 33, of Spring Close View, Sheffield, burgled the sting flat on November 2 after forcing a teenager to enter the property and steal electrical items from inside.
The stolen items were passed to Parkin, who was quickly located by officers and arrested. He pleaded guilty to the crime at Sheffield Crown Court on December 8.
