Sheffield man rescued from taxi that flipped on its side

Firefighters have had to cut a man free from a taxi, after the vehicle crashed and flipped on its side on a Sheffield road this morning.

The incident occurred at the Brook Hill roundabout at around 1.30am this morning.

Firefighters had to remove the windscreen in order to be able to able to free the man.

The man, who is believed to have been the taxi's driver, did not sustain any serious injuries in the collision.
