Sheffield man being hunted by police is found

Jonathan Dodson, aged 37, was found in Barnsley after South Yorkshire Police reissued an appeal for his arrest. He is now in police custody.

Mr Dodson was wanted over a number of assaults alleged to have been committed between May and November last year.

South Yorkshire Police circulated Dodson’s photograph in January and produced a ‘wanted’ poster in a further bid to locate him on April 7.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman thanked people for sharing the appeal.
