LINE dancers in Sheffield are stepping out for charity.

The Goin Stompin Western Dancers will hold the event at Frecheville Community Centre on Friday, March 1, from 8pm to 10.30pm, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Suitable for improver and intermediate levels, there will also be a raffle, quiz and more.

Owls fans in court

Regarding a report headlined ‘Brawling Owls fans banned from games’ which appeared in The Star yesterday, we would like to make it clear Nigel Congreve, aged 43, of Owlthorpe Avenue, Mosborough, and 42-year-old Darren Hackett, of Hopedale Road, Frecheville, did not receive football banning orders.

Fun at the theatre

PERFORMERS from the Chinese state circus are to put on a show in Chesterfield.

Thirty artists will be on stage at the Pomegranate Theatre on Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, from 7.30pm.
