Two Sheffield lawyer are sacrificing a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed for a night out under stars to raise cash to support the city’s homeless.

Corporate expert Andrea Cropley and commercial litigation specialist Dorrien Peters, from Irwin Mitchell, are among a number of local businesspeople who will spend a night outside Sheffield Cathedral tomorrow.

Money raised in sponsorship will go to Sheffield Cathedral’s Archer Project, which provides food and support to the city’s homeless.

Andrea said: “This charity has done fantastic work for a great number of years and we are delighted to lend our support to such a brilliant cause.

“As a firm we are committed to backing initiatives local to all of our offices and this one is particularly close to our hearts considering Irwin Mitchell’s own roots in Sheffield.

“While we know many people face much greater hardship than spending a single night sleeping without a roof over their heads, we hope that getting involved in this will help to put a spotlight on the issue and raise vital funds for the charity.”
