Meanwhile, more energetic staff took part in the Major Series 10k course in which competitors tackle an obstacle course including hills, mud and water and a team also entered the Sheffield Half Marathon.

Nabarro partner Tracey Marsden said: “We’ve been delighted to support St Luke’s Hospice as our charity of the year in both 2014 and 2015.

“We have a terrific team of fundraisers and volunteers in our Sheffield and Manchester offices who have come up with all sorts of exciting ways to raise money and do so with great enthusiasm.

“Charity has always been a very important part of the culture at Nabarro and we’re particularly keen to support good causes within our local communities.

“St Luke’s is a fantastic charity that does vital work in the local community and we’re thrilled to have made a significant contribution towards the cost of creating a new garden and garden room at St Luke’s, which has made such difference to patients and their families.”
