Sheffield law firm donates £26k to children's hospice in Rotherham

Sheffield-based law firm Irwin Mitchell has donated over £26,000 to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice in Rotherham.

The firm named the hospice as its charity of the year in 2015.

Employees donated the proceeds of charitable activities including bake sales, dress down days and special events including a Total Warrior obstacle course challenge and a Santa dash.

Paul Firth, Regional Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell, said: “Through our work, we see how invaluable the help and support hospices such as Bluebell Wood provide for families and their children in the region and we have been delighted to support them as our charity of the Year throughout 2015.

“We are very grateful of the generosity our colleagues have shown towards the charity and to the guests who have attended fundraising events over the year.”
