A killer who stabbed a young dad to death is still on the run this morning.

Jordan Hill, aged 21, was knifed to death in an attack in Southey Avenue, Longley, last Thursday.

He was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.

Detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder have asked for anyone who saw a silver car near to Jordan's flat on the night of the attack to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Victoria Short, who is leading the murder probe, thanked the local community for information provided but urged those who have not yet come forward to pass on what they know.

Jordan's family is said to be 'devastated' at the death.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
