Sheffield Ice Hockey Academy teams land nine trophies
First to set the ball rolling was the newly-formed Sheffield Scimitars Under-20s .
Having won the League they travelled to Dumfries Ice Bowl, Scotland targeting the inaugural national U-20s title.

Hide AdFollowing convincing wins in the quarter and semi finals, Scimitars met home team Fife Falcons in the final.
After a very close game Scimitars clinched the trophy with an overtime winner.
Unbeaten League champions Sheffield Steelhawks U18s completed their great double on the first day of the English Ice Hockey Association (EIHA) 2016 National Finals weekend at iceSheffield,
They took on the might of the Okanagan Hockey Academy, who only weeks before had been victorious in the Rob Laidler Plate competition.

Hide AdHowever, on this occasion the tide was turned and Sheffield came away triumphant, taking the National title with a convincing 6-1 win.
The next day, U15s League winners Sheffield Stormers clinched their national title.
They eliminated Swindon Leopards in the semi-final then faced a very strong Chelmsford Tomahawks side who were unbeaten all season.
After a tense first period, Sheffield dominated the game triumphing 6-2.

Hide AdThe U-11s were Division One champions and qualified for the Nationals Championship, coming a respectable fourth in the Country.
The U-18s second team won the Division Two champiopnship.
Also impressing were the U-13s who finished third in Division One and the U15s Division Two side, who finished fifth.
