Sheffield housing firm takes plaudits

HOUSING maintenance contractor Kier Sheffield has received 95 per cent positive feedback from council house tenants.

The firm, which looks after repairs for the city’s 42,000 council houses, said it has a ‘strong customer care focus’.

Kier said it has aimed to improve its service through initiatives including ‘resident ride-outs’, where tenants spend time with a Kier employee and provide feedback on areas for improvement.

Simon Bullen, of Kier, said: “These results are testament to the hard work of our team.”
