Sheffield hosts Figure Skating Championships

Adult figure skaters from all over the country descended on Sheffield this weekend for the 2016 British Adult Figure Skating Championships.

The event that takes place across this weekend saw old favourites returning and and new faces.

The event is the culmination of months of hard word for adult figure skaters and proved be a skating spectacle.

Skating continues today at iceSheffield in Coleridge Road.

Sheffield’s prestigious Ice Academy supports elite skaters and is a National Centre of Excellence for figure skating, ice dance and ice hockey.
