An outdoor event for Sheffield families to celebrate the life of loved ones who died at a hospice has been cancelled due to the wet weather.
The 'Celebration of life' event was due to be staged at St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield this afternoon for relatives and friends to 'share special memories' and to enjoy a range of attractions such as face painting and live music.

But the hospice announced on their website that the adverse weather means the event had to be cancelled.
The message read: "Unfortunately due to the bad weather today we have had to cancel our Celebration of Life event at Little Common Lane today.

The message added that daisies - which represent a lost loved one - that were due to be displayed at the event will instead go on show at a later date this year.
