Sheffield homeless charity shop open for the holidays

Householders can pick up a post Christmas bargain thanks to a city homeless charity.

Emmaus Sheffield gives those who were formerly homeless somewhere safe and welcoming to live and makes them part of a working community geared towards becoming self-sufficient through social enterprise.

It runs a second hand furniture and bric-a-brac store at its headquarters at Sipelia Works in Cadman Street, close to Sheffield’s Canal Basin.

The shop will close at 12.30pm on Christmas Eve but will be open daily from 11am to 4pm during the holidays apart from December 26 and January 1 and 2.
