Sheffield Hallam University's work placement scheme is paying off for students

Sheffield Hallam University is working with businesses to offer up to 100 funded internships to help students gain valuable work experience.

The SHU Internship Scheme offers students paid placements in partnership with companies such as Alcoa, Capita and Cavendish Cancer Care.

Taruka Srivastav, who is studying sports journalism and is doing an internship at Manchester United FC, said: “I feel privileged to study in an institution which provides such excellent opportunities for students.”
