Sheffield group adopts real life goose ahead of pantomime show
Youngsters at a Sheffield theatre company grew so fond of the lead character in their play Mother Goose that they decided to sponsor a goose in real life.
Members of the Handsworth and Hallam Theatre Company became attached to lead character ‘Percilla the Goose’ and so renamed and sponsored one at the Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Surrey. Mother Goose will be performed at Sheffield’s Montgomery Theatre between January 27 and 30.
