Sheffield golf course closed as snow falls in parts of city
Snow has forced the closure of a Sheffield golf club - but members can still enjoy bridge and snooker.
Hallamshire Golf Club, Sandygate, will be closed for the day today (Tuesday) as parts of Sheffield wake up to a dusting of snow.
A Met Office yellow 'be aware' warning remains in place until 11am on Wednesday, with forecasters predicting a "slushy cover" of 1 or 2cm to lower levels and 2 to 6cm of snow on higher ground.
