Sheffield gang attack appeal reissued after victim released from hospital

The 46-year-old man who was assaulted by a gang of youths in Sheffield has been released from hospital.

Police are still appealing for information on the attack in Donovan Road, Parson Cross, at 11pm on Saturday night.

A 16-year-old was arrested and bailed after the man was seriously injured in the gang attack.

A group of youths were confronted about noise they were making in the street.

One member of the group allegedly assaulted a 45-year-old woman who suffered minor injuires.

A few minutes later, the 46-year-old man was assaulted. He was taken to hospital but he has now been released and is recovering at home.
