Firefighters in Sheffield spent two-and-a-half hours tackling a blaze at Kelham Island.

The fire, in a derelict industrial building on Dixon Street, was discovered at 9.30pm yesterday.

Four crews from across the city were deployed to the blaze and remained at the scene until just after midnight.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said checks had revealed that the fire was started deliberately.
