Sheffield FC Ladies were denied their fifth straight victory in the Women’s Super League 2 as Millwall Lionesses hit back for a 2-2 draw at the Coach and Horses ground.
Sheffield’s Emma Lipman scored her first competitive goals for thee years, including a stunning long-range strike.
Ashlee Hincks scored from the spot to give the visitors the lead on 20 minutes before Lipman’s brace but sub Charlotte Gurr snatched a point in the 75th minute.
Lipman said: “It shows how far we have come as a team in the last few games that we are disappointed in a draw. “Defensively we made a couple of mistakes that we haven’t made in the last few games and that kind of undid us a little bit.”
