A man, woman and two children were taken to hospital this morning after a fire broke out in their lounge.
They discovered the blaze in their home in Dagnam Road, Arbourthorne, at 3.15am and attempts were made to extinguish the flames before firefighters arrived at the scene.

A man in his 30s suffered burns to his hands after using a garden hose reel to try to douse the flames.
He also suffered cuts to his feet after a window pane shattered in the heat.
The family was taken to hospital for check-ups.
Firefighters used a hose reel to ensure the flames were out and they ventilated the property.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is under way but it is believed to have been an electrical fault.
